WE WILL PICK YOU UP IN VOLUSIA OR NEARBY COUNTIES and learn to drive, and traffic schools have two of the best driving instructors. Maria has been an instructor for over 16 years, and Mr. Joseph Veerkamp is a retired police officer from the Atlanta, GA, police force. In 1976 I graduated from High School from Jaime Collazo del Rio in Morovis, Puerto Rico. I started college and was unable to finish. I married Mr. Jose Gomez in 1977, and right after our marriage, we move to Connecticut. My two sons were born in Connecticut. Prior to becoming an instructor, I have worked as a Foster Mom, taking care of ADHD. I was licensed to become a Foster Mom in 1992. In 1996 my oldest son needed it to take 5 hours of drugs awareness and to see that someone had difficulty with her language; I assisted this person. This is when I ask the manager at the Driving School if there were an opening for Instructors; the manager informs me right there not at the moment, but that it didn't hurt to fill out an application and keep it on record just in case a vacancy would come available, and I did fill it out. Just two months after filling out the application, I was called asking if I was still available and if so, to start training. I am so glad I did fill out the application because thanks to this driving school, I became a Driving Instructor. Work with them for a couple of years, and they went out of business. I also worked with a Radio Station as an Account Executive, and I was one of the best in the field. These Companies move to another State. Working with the Radio Station, one of my customers offered me a part-time job because he was in need of a Hispanic Speaking person, I did accept the offer, and I became a Weight loss consultant for Better Life, a weight loss center I did help a lot of people to become healthy. The company moves an hour from my location, and I had to look for another job. I did find an opening for a residential advisor. I started working with Connecticut Job Corps Center in New Haven, Connecticut; this work offered me Health Insurance and benefits. I stay working as a residential advisor for two years and part-time with Top Driver Driving School in Hamden, Connecticut. There was a time that I was working a full and part-time job. I was certified as a Justice of the Peace for several years; this gave me the opportunity to perform wedding ceremonies, sworn statements, etc. I am a person with a great understanding of the safety of my students as well as other drivers on the road. I have people skills. My way of teaching driving is unique; I keep so calm when I have someone behind the wheel. I keep my posture and don't lose control no matter how taught the student might be. I will guide you step by step with my way of teaching until you learn to drive. How I described myself.
POLITE, PATIENT, HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, PEOPLE PERSON, FRIENDLY, TAUGHT (WHEN I NEED TO)• I DON'T YELL OR SCREAM, TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY, YOU WORST NIGHTMARE. (I keep repeating the driving test skills until you learn how to do them)• VERY WELL RECOMMENDED BY OTHER PARENTS. (THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR TRUST AND REFERRALS.) FUNNY, EMOTIONAL (HURT WHEN PEOPLE CAN NOT AFFORD THEIR TRAINING. I GO BEYOND AND GIVE EXTRA TIME FREE OF CHARGE, VERY STRONG; I TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION WHEN THINGS ARE NOT HAPPENING THE WAY I WOULD LIKE TO.
